I almost never make a trip to Tanger Outlets. I had to do so today 3/5/2017 because my 3 year old just celebrated a birthday and his Aunt decided to purchase some items from Children's Place which were too small. I made a special trip today to attempt to exchange these item. Unfortunately, because I did not have a receipt the store would not return the items. They stated that they could only exchange them for the same item in a different size. Ironically the tops that were identical were not his size. Actually there was only one top in his size (which I would never put on my child). They suggested that I purchased items that were not even his size or that they could do nothing. I was extremely disappointed as I had just come from a similar children's store in Tanger Outlet mall that allowed me to exchange with no complications. I will probably never shop at this store in the future because they do not cater to the customer nor are they fair in their policies. I ended up taking home my too small items home and making an "out of the way" trip to Children's Place Outlet store with a restless 3 year old in tow for no reason. Never Again!
