Fayette Mall Lexington, Kentucky - KY

Fayette Mall is a regional shopping centre located at 3401 Nicholasville Road in Lexington, Kentucky. The mall was constructed by Forest City, Ohio’s Richard E. Jacobs Group at the high traffic intersection of Richmond and New Circle Roads and opened in 1974. Fayette Mall offers 1.4 million square-foot of retail space and is owned and operated  by CBL & Associates Properties. Fayette Mall offers everything from shopping, eating, relaxation & fun in one place. The mall houses more then 150 stores and eateries and is anchored by Dillard’s, Macy’s, JCPenney and Dick’s Sporting Goods. In June 2008, the 16-screen Cinemark Fayette Mall was opened. It replaced the old cinema complex in the mall that had closed in 1998.

The mall recently underwent a redevelopment. The expansion started in January 2014 and ended up in the autumn 2014. The redevelopment of the former Sears location included expanding the mall entrance to create 115,000 square feet of new retail space for a mix of fashion stores, home furnishings and fine dining options in the heart of the shopping center. New retailers came in as a result of the expansion. The new stores include The Cheesecake Factory, H&M, Eddie Bauer, Oakley, Clarks, Jos. A Bank, Swarovski, Janie and Jack, Altar’d State, Vera Bradley, Michael Kors, Brighton Collectibles, Pink, Island Purveyor featuring Tommy Bahama, New Balance, Newk’s Eatery, Chipotle and Travinia Italian Kitchen, Red Bang Bang Sushi Restaurant and Moe’s Southwest Grill. Fayette Mall features more interesting stores and eateries such as Apple, Coach, American Eagle, The Disney Store, Build-A-Bear Workshop, Coldwater Creek, J. Crew, J. Jill, Forever 21, Francesca's Collections, Coach, Banana Republic, The Gap, Talbots, Williams-Sonoma, Ann Taylor, Abercrombie & Fitch, Sephora, PF Changs, Abuelo's, Saul Good, & Smashing Tomato and many more. Play arena is located in Center Court.
