The Legends at Village West Kansas City, Kansas - KS

The Legends Outlets Kansas City is an outdoor 1.2 million square foot shopping and entertainment centre located in the Village West near Kansas City, Kansas. The mall was opened in April 2006 as The Legends at Village West and in 2012 renamed Legends Outlets Kansas City. The centre Legends Outlets is surrounded by major destinations, including outdoor retailer Cabela’s, Nebraska Furniture Mart, Schlitterbahn Vacation Village Waterpark, Hollywood Casino, Sporting Kansas City MLS, the Kansas City T-Bones Northern League baseball team, The Great Wolf Lodge Resort and the NASCAR Kansas Speedway. The Kansas Legends theme has been carried though out the Legends shopping center with statues, paintings & plaques dedicated to over 80 Kansas sports figures, entrepreneurs, explorers, artists, scientists, writers, poets, and politicians.

The shopping centre features  more than 110 stores and restaurants, including 39 outlet/value stores and 32 restaurants. The Legends Outlets Kansas City is home to stores such as JC Penney, T.J. Maxx, Target, Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH, J Crew | crewcuts, Nike Factory, Maurices, Adidas Outlet, Aeropostale, Ann Taylor Factory Store, Brooks Brothers Factory Store, Gap Outlet, Banana Republic, BCBGMAXAZRIA, and many more. The Legends 14 Theatre is located in the heart of the Legends Outlet Shopping Center. The theatre features 14 State-of-the Art auditoriums with all-digital presentation, Master Image 3D, wall-to-wall movie screens, and comfortable seating.

Some new buildings are being planned at The Legends Outlets in Kansas City. The proposed building would contain three tenants, Noodles and Company, Vision Works and Mattress Firm.  A new retailer Coach opened a permanent outlet store in a larger space in the Legends in August 2015.
